So much here to ponder and savour, especially the quote about loving life and a lifetime of dogs from his poem about standing on his parents' threshold as a child. I also found myself inwardly applauding at Scott's comments on the role of humour in good poetry (and, imho, theology).

Brandi, I came across Scott's work many, many years ago and have long admired him from afar. Your interview questions show such curiosity about the writer and clear understanding of his words; they make the interview a true pleasure to read.

Ooooo Brandi...! I was eagerly awaiting this one and it did not disappoint :) Love his words in "Archeology" on meaning, and the discovery of it as something already present in the cosmos, waiting for us. Scott's words are always like a deep breath at the top of the mountain -- such pure air!
